Nua
Conrad Roset

Nua is the name of the exhibition that Conrad Roset has created for The Eleven House, but it also could be the name of one of his Muses. She is a woman in every sense of the word, whom Roset admires and represents with his pencils. Nua inspires him to craft simple, minimalistic lines with immense character.
The collection is an offering to the female body: to the beauty of its silhouette, to the sensuality of each line, perfect in its imperfection.
Nua offers a journey to female beauty in which the artist imprints a unique, electrifying character with every color and every line. The blush springs from his brush and expands forcefully into the concept of feminine identity.
The ultimate encapsulation of Roset’s style lies in this exclusive collection for The Eleven House, for which he has delicately simple illustrations that pay homage to the female body, with a selection of colors that draw from home and from the Empordà.

Conrad Roset
Conrad Roset spent the first part of his 38 years of life in Terrassa, his hometown, between boxes of crayons, markers and notebooks; he has spent the rest in Barcelona, surrounded by paintings, moleskins, muses, colored pencils and his gray cat. Drawing has been a passion and a constant throughout his life, from when he played around with his brother drawing everything they liked, until years later when he became inspired by women to create the Muses, his most personal collection.
He trained at the Joso School and the Fine Arts Faculty in Barcelona. There, he says, he learned the trade, consistency, and how to study the styles of renowned illustrators. A year later, he struck out on his own as a freelance artist and shortly after he founded his design studio Nómada, together with Adrián Cuevas and Roger Mendoza.
In 2018 they launched Gris, an animated video game, with Roset serving as the artistic director which has reaped major international success, like the Annie Award for the best animation of a video game character, and a nomination for the Bafta Awards.
He has exhibited in galleries and museums including the MOCA in Virginia, SopkeArt in San Francisco, London Miles in England, Tipos Infames in Madrid, and Artevistas and Miscelanea in Barcelona. He also collaborates as an illustration professor at the BAU School of Design.
